Vintage Silk Scarf LES BLÉS By Hugo Grygkar C.1955 W/Box

A very rare, original issue Hermès scarf ‘les Blés’. This scarf was designed by Hugo Grygkar, and it is the original first issued from 1955, it was reissued in 1990, 1998 and 2006. Handcrafted beautifully with a superb vintage silk with brown border, off-white background. Featuring a floral field with wheat (les blés), rabbits, while flowers with red poppies and blue cornflower. A ‘Must-have’ rare Hermès collector scarf in your wardrobe! A Hermès scarf made for the perfect gift – an investment piece that will be cherished for years to come.

The Story behind: Hugo Grygkar was the first artist to design a Hermès scarf. It was born in Germany in 1907 to a Czech family that moved to France in 1914. Robert Dumas-Hermès developed a strong relationship with Grygkar until his death in 1959.
