Vintage Amethyst Flower Clip on Earrings Cannetille work & Faux Pearls
Lovely vintage big flower clip earrings, rare shape, gold plated with a simulated cut amethyst surrounded by highly ornate cannetille work and tiny faux pearls. Cannetille is a relative of filigree and was inspired by embroidery in fashion. It was at its height of popularity in Europe from 1820-1830.
