A wonderful Hermès Cerès Goddess scarf. This scarf was designed by Françoise Faconnet in 1967. Large purple border, soft off-white background with a combination of multi colours. It is a beautiful scarf depicting the Roman goddess, Cerès the goddess of agriculture, fertility, grains, harvest, motherhood and the earth, spreading her wings in front of an audience of onlooking fauna. Cerès is the Roman counterpart to the Greek Goddess Demeter. ‘Must-Have’.
