LOUIS VUITTON 1970s Eclair Zipper Speedy 40 LV Monogram Travel Luggage Bag

Condition A-: Vintage-Preowned, 1970s by LOUIS VUITTON. A very rare 1970s authentic iconic Speedy LV monogram travel bag with vintage “Eclair” zipper hardware. A collector 1970s piece of vintage heritage from a private collection, a “Must-Have” for your vintage wardrobe! Styled in the photos by the American Actress Audrey Hepburn. The LV canvas leather is in very good condition, the calfskin leather handles are in very good condition with no rip or holes and has a beautiful dark patina, the interior leather is in good condition with some small pen ink marks and the hardware is in very good condition. The zipper is stamped Éclair , the exterior and interior gold tone studs buttons are stamped LV, the padlock is stamped LOUIS VUITTON PARIS ®. In the 70s all LV luggage and bags was made in LV workshop in Asnières Sur Seine outside of Paris. Delivered with the padlock, the keys are missing.
