Condition A-: Preowned, C. 2012-2013. In very good used condition, with slight aged and wear interior and exterior on the leather with a lovely dark grey patina on the corners. The interior is clean with slight wear. Signed CHANEL®, Made in France, 8 digit serial number hologram starting with 17. Delivered with the Chanel Authenticity Card, the Chanel booklet, the Chanel dust-bag and with a CHANEL black carton bag (due to the large size, the carton bag will be sent only in the UK).

A classic Chanel 2.55 reissue double flap bag 2012-2013. It is handcrafted with aged leather calfskin in gunmetal metallic grey colour and opens with a Mademoiselle lock and with a Mademoiselle double chain in ruthenium hardware. The aged calfskin is a wrinkle leather. The interior is lined in metallic grey smooth calfskin with two patch pockets and one lipstick pocket against the back. Has an open pocket directly under the flap, on the back and one behind the flap. This bag features a secret zipper pocket on the inside of the top flap. Can be worn crossbody with single chain. It is a lovely bag, ‘Must-Have’ to be used on a daily basis!

Behind the Story: In 2005, Chanel celebrating the 50th anniversary of the 2.55 bag and Karl Lagerfeld released the Chanel 2.55 Reissue. This reissue bag commemorates and reproduces the original style of the 2.55 bag. This reissue bag was introduced in a distressed lambskin calfskin leather with the iconic diamond quilting pattern. When studying the Chanel 2.55 Reissue vs. the Classic Flap bag, it’s easy to note the differences. The distressed leather conveys the impression of a well-worn, aged skin and beloved original, the shoulder strap is made like the original all-metal 2.55 chain, and the Mademoiselle lock is featured.
