The Story Behind: PIERRE BALMAIN HAUTE COUTURE HOUSE
Pierre Balmain haute couture shoes, originating from the 1945, represent a legacy of elegance and heritage, often featuring sophistication with classic designs, luxurious materials, and meticulous craftsmanship. PIERRE BALMAIN was using the French shoe workshop HAREL to produce their HAUTE COUTURE shoes.

Harel was a prestigious French luxury and haute couture shoemaker, founded in 1917 and based in Fougères (Ille-et-Vilaine) until the 1990s. HAREL was specialised in high-end women’s shoes made from exotic leathers (crocodile, ostrich, snake), HAREL was renowned for its hand-finished details and comfort, and was favoUred by international celebrities such as the French actress Catherine Deneuve.
