Condition A-: Vintage-Preowned, ultra rare made in 1970 (53 years old), stunning box leather, patina and a very rare colour. Very good vintage used condition with light signs of wear on the leather and behind at the bottom. Some oxidation on the hardware plate underneath the flap straps as per photos. The oxidation is not visible when the flap is closed because it is hidden underneath the front flap with the twist-lock. Signed HERMÈS PARIS, with the letter Z engraved on the back of the flap ‘languette’ which corresponds to the year of manufacture of 1970. Delivered with two original HERMÈS numbered 003 keys, numbered 003 padlock, the key-fob and with the original Hermès box.

A stunning collectable iconic ultra rare vintage 1970 Kelly 32 Cognac colour handbag. Considering it’s 53 years old age this Kelly bag is in very good condition with only a few minor signs of age related wear. It is handcrafted in box calf leather, a very rigid and stunning leather in a beautiful very very rare Cognac colour, similar to the vintage Kelly bag that was exhibited in 2012 by Hermès (Copyright photo attached by Hermès – Vogue, Harper Collins Publishers). The Cognac leather is a naturally aged leather with a shade of brown with lovely subtle reddish undertones. The same bag in Cognac colour was first exhibited by Hermès when they hosted a new exhibition in London, entitled Leather Forever which was their first exhibition held in the Royal Academy of Art’s sister space.
