A magnificent silk scarf “Pani La Shar Pawnee” designed by Kermit Oliver in 1984. A beautiful rare design and colour, blue cyan border, a light blue background with multi-colour horses with this magnificent Indian chief in the center. This scarf is rare and it represents the artist himself Kermit Oliver’s inaugural design for Hermès and depicts a Pawnee Indian Chief. Kermit Oliver is a Texas resident, a U.S. Postal Service employee and an artist. He is being recognised as one of the most important living Indian-American painters and the only American to ever design an Hermès scarf.

Condition A: Vintage-Preowned, in excellent condition, just one pencil mark and small stain. Signed Hermès Paris, the artist name Oliver is on the right hand side and copyright ©Hermès on the top right hand side. Delivered with it’s original box, silk paper and ribbon.
