Sublime Hermès scarf, autumn leaves swirl theme, brown border edges and polychrome design on a cream background, circa 1990. Very rare, designed by Leigh P. Cook.

All Hermès scarves are crafted in a traditional extended method. They exist in many colours, complicated drawings, simple, modern, classic. There is a scarf for everyone, but it is also a luxury item. Hermès launches about 15 different new models per year. The design is kept secret. About fifty designers collaborate with Hermes, which regularly calls upon young talents. They draw their inspiration from themes close to the Hermès traditions: travel, horses, popular arts and traditions, sports, nature, history …
