An iconic chic and timeless 2007 Hermès Anchor silver chain necklace in excellent condition with its original box. Handcrafted in silver sterling with buckle and toggle closure. The story of the Chaîne d’Ancre story began more than 80 years ago, in 1938, when Robert Dumas, a member of the Hermès family, decided to take inspiration from a ship anchor chain to design a bracelet. Thus the Chaine d’ancre was born: a naturally balanced jewel with a sporty yet chic allure. The links of the chain, polished, elliptical and round grained, play on shapes and volumes reflecting the company’s chain-making expertise. This piece is 43 cm long (43 links), chain links size 1.3 cm x 0.7 cm with London and French stamped silver hallmarks.
