Chanel Pearl Choker Necklace Poured Glass & Faux Diamonds 1980s
A stunning Chanel large Baroque pearl choker necklace, circa 1980s. This vintage necklace is made with poured glass pearls and these type of pearls was developed in Paris by Madame Gripoix. Chanel was the first to approach Madame Gripoix to reproduce Byzantine jewellery and pearls. Chanel remained a loyal customer for decades. This wonderful necklace is set with three circle of faux diamonds between the large pearls. Gilded hook with chain fastener and the length is adjustable.
Condition A: Vintage-preowned – Very good condition, considering his 39 years of age. In the exception of one knot between two of the pearls is apparent (see photo). Signed CHANEL MADE IN FRANCE, CC LOGO and stamped No. 26. Delivered with it’s original box and the interior CC log silk paper.
