In 1927, the first Hermès jewellery collections were launched. Stirrups, bits, bridles… equestrian symbols linked to Hermès’ history, an eternal source of inspiration, such as the links of the famous Chaîne d’Ancre bracelet, which appeared in 1938. Pierre Hardy, a fashion designer originally from the shoe industry, took over as artistic director of the fine jewelry collections in 2001.
