This exquisite very rare Christian Dior floral sapphire cluster brooch, made by Henkel & Grosse in Germany in 1964 for Christian Dior. Handcrafted in stunning coloured palette in smooth polished cut cabochons and crystals cut set in tiered cluster. A striking contrast of deep cobalt/sapphire blue pear-shaped and milky opaque white cabochons accented by smaller oval cabochons emerald cut rectangular faceted crystals in a dark navy blue coloured set on a textured antique brushed gold-tone metal base. Each stone is securely held by classic, prominent prong settings. A “Must-Have” highly collectible, vintage 1964 CHRISTIAN DIOR brooch by Mitchel Maer very difficult to find for your vintage wardrobe!
