This is a highly desirable, archival investment piece from Karl Lagerfeld’s early tenure and heritage, a rare vintage collector piece from a private collection (a black Chanel handbag from the same collection from the same owner is also available). In very good vintage condition, the exterior leather has kept its beautiful patina with tiny signs of wear related to its 45 year old; the interior iconic classic vintage blue Grosgrain fabric is in very good vintage condition, the 24k gold plated twist-lock hardware and the interlaced leather-gold strap are in very good condition with tiny signs of wear. This bag has a beautiful patina with a beautiful flat leather. Signed CHANEL PARIS, Made in France, the 24k gold plated hardware is engraved with the gold plated stamp on the CC logo turn-lock - the interior Grosgrain zipper pocket is engraved with the ECLAIR symbol linked with the CC logo pull out tag.
