A very rare and collectible Hermès scarf 'Découpages' by Annie Rosat. This beautiful scarf was first issued in 1997-1998. Very rich vibrant colour, red and green border, white background with red, green, yellow, brown and black. The design, inspired by découpage art, i.e., decorating an object by gluing coloured paper cutouts onto it in combination with special paint effects, gold leaf and other decorative elements, charmingly depicts iconic Swiss alpine scenes and objects such as edelweiss, chalets, hotel and animals. Condition A-: Vintage - Pre-owned, very good condition, lightly worn, no discolouration, no holes, no pull-out thread, stains. The hems are intact, tight and round.
